The narration states that King Kong was the first motion picture to be re-released, but this is not close to being correct, as reissuing was a common practice during the silent era. Indeed, many pictures from the last years of silent films were not properly preserved in their respective studios' archives because they were considered to have no reissue potential with the arrival of talkies, and are now lost.
