An odd film with an odd story line. The acting is good with all of the charm of English films. The sound track was good and appropriately ominous. It is the resolution that I found a bit difficult to reconcile with what had occurred during the progress of the plot. Worth watching, though.

Suggs from madness acts his pants off!
JABBA-THE-SLUT15 June 2004
I remember this on Channel 4 in 1990. As a big Madness fan I had to tune in. I taped it and watched it over and over for about 12 months!Suggs had already starred in 'Press Gang' the CITV kids show and now starred in 'The Final Frame'. Suggs is a dodgy poPstar who gets blown up on stage by animal rights protesters - or was it? Wont spoil it for you. A very dark and adult film this and now sadly unavailable. Standout points were Suggs singing Animal - one of the unreleased 'The Madness' song's and an excellent soundtrack in general. Best scene in the film is the montage at the end with Suggs being exploded to the sound of Baby Ford's Wigan. For a T.V. movie this is as good as it gets. Sadly unavailable since it's original transmission.
