I saw this short film just once on TV several years ago, and its bizarre and haunting imagery has stuck with me to this day. The stark black and white animation presents a bleak view of a totalitarian world where life is work, and joy and creativity are criminalized. The simple, cartoonish artwork and the absence of dialogue give the film an emotional immediacy not easily forgotten: I still recall the dread I felt when I first saw the evil grin of the "order agent". I highly recommend this film, though I have no idea where one might look for a copy of it.
