Don't skip this just because it's Serbo-Croatian., 21 July 2005

Though the war topic is a brutal one, this film left a charming impression on me after watching this on TV. It was as if I had just watched a quaint comedy, except the punchline was inspired by some very dark genius.

This film should appeal to any European viewer. British, French and German viewers might be particularly interested to see how their respective nationalities are represented here.

As many have pointed out above, the fallacy of war is very much in focus here. As much as it is on other famous titles such as "Dr Strangelove", "Catch 22", and "Apocalypse Now".
