Continuity 

When Shanti wipes the "war paint stripes" of Ranjan's face she cleans only one cheek - yet in the next shot, both cheeks are clean.

Before the "Jungle Rhythm" song, Shanti picks up an empty basket and puts three mangoes in it. In the next shot with the basket, it is full of mangoes, with no time to pick that many.

Errors in geography 

The film is set in India, yet the gathering at the monkey city includes hippopotamuses, which are native only to Africa, and ocelots, which are native only to the Americas.

Plot holes 

Several times Shanti has to go to the river for water, yet, near the end of the movie, a woman can clearly be seen dipping a container of water out of what seems to be a fountain or pool in the center of the village.

Plot holes 

All the sound effects, plus Shere Khan's comment on Lucky Vulture's ironic name, indicate that Lucky was killed by Khan, yet he shows up in the final scenes, unharmed. Possibly the ending was changed at the last minute.
