This "making of" documentary is beautifully photographed and gives the viewer an appreciation for the tremendous logistical challenge of filming on such a remote location as Easter Island. Not only does it include the usual film clips, interviews and background that one expects of a "making of" but, because it highlights the true star of the movie - Rapa Nui itself - it is a great stand alone feature, taking the viewer on a scenic, mystical and even sometimes humorous journey to a place visited by few people on earth.
It is a better film that the one it documents - and has probably been seen by more people!
