There was a film coming in 1996 called MR.AASHIQ which never released and the songs were already in the market In 1999, Mahesh Bhatt makes YEH HAI MUMBAI MERI JAAN using the same songs, Saif and Twinkle and the film tanked The movie is typical comedy and funny at times too stupid too at times

Direction by Bhatt Saab is ordinary Music is very good, MERA CHAND and some other 2 songs are nice Camera-work is okay

Saif is decent, as in those days Twinkle annoys Chunky is okay ditto for Akshay Anand Avtar Gill and the villains ham

Overall the film is okay for the TV vieweing and not in theatre
