Contra: Legacy of War is of no doubt the worst Contra game ever. First off, the game was developed by the Hungarian developer Appaloosa Interactive and KCET (now Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo) is missing from the development production of the Contra series. The graphics were so horrible, especially the terrible character designs of the game. The controls in this game are so screwed up that you can't aim very well at various times and evading attacks is a mere pathetic problem. The life system in this game is nothing like the traditional Contra games where the characters dies from one hit. Instead, you take a hit and hear your character scream in a lame way. After they take enough hits, they blow up instead of falling to the ground. This game is so frustrating that you regret even playing this garbage for the first time. And that's not all. There is a 3D mode in this game that requires the included 3D glasses from the early release. Like hell we would be interested in that feature. No one needs 3D glasses to see that games are in 3D, that is all relied on polygons and cel-shaded graphics. Take my advice and don't even lay a finger on this game. Try the Contra series on PlayStation 2 such as Contra: Shattered Soldier and Neo Contra. You won't be disappointed with those Contra games.
