Each Night, Potsworth the dog and his 4 friends, Carter his owner, Keiko, Rosie, and Nick go to sleep and enter the realm known as the Dream Zone. There, they become the Midnight Patrol, and they help keep peace and order in the Dream Zone. All the while, foiling the evil ambitions of the dimwitted Nightmare Prince, whose goal is to ruin everyone's dreams. Written by Dan Boccia
Potsworth & Co. (aka Midnight Patrol) was an excellent series from the minds at Hanna Barbera and Sleepy Kids Co. It aired in syndication in 1990, and on Cartoon Network from 1995-96 early Sunday mornings. It featured great colorful animation, lovable characters, and a catchy musical score. Potsworth's sarcastic and funny attitude in my opinion ranks him up there with other great Hanna Barbera dogs such as Muttley and Scooby Doo. It would be great if this show was released on DVD so everyone can enjoy it for years to come. If you liked great, later, Hanna Barbera shows like Pound Puppies, The Shirt Tales, The Snorks, The Smurfs, Fantastic Max, and A Pup Named Scooby Doo, then Potsworth & Co. is surely for you.
