Mandy Moore: Acting Is So Much Easier Than Singing

7 January 2002 | WENN | See recent WENN news »

Pop star Mandy Moore is glad she decided to become an actress - because it's an easier life than being a singer. The pop star says making a Hollywood movie is much less stressful than making music. She says, "Actors don't realise how easy they have it. Musicians are always travelling. We're constantly having to change plans at a moments notice. Actors, when you're on location you have such a nice regimented schedule. It was such a wonderful experience compared to what my life is like normally." She continues, "Musicians are used to changing time zones, getting on planes and feeling as if your body's still moving when you're not." But despite her comments and the facts she's just completed two movies, The Princess Diaries and A Walk To Remember, Moore isn't ready to give up her singing just yet. She explains, "I still want the main point of my career to be music but I'm ready for more acting. I want to dive in head first." »
