Nice independent feature

I had the opportunity to see this film at the Phoenix Film Festival, and then again at a local theater where it had a one week run. It is a very low budget film that captures a lot of emotion. Although the "look" of the film is a bit lacking, it makes up for it in acting, and emotion. Matt Lagman's screenplay is an unusual combination of low-brow humor, sarcastic one-liners and touching revelations. A sort of coming of age story for the twenty-something crowd. Lagman found a few gems during his casting, most notably Flavia Fynn and Tracy Pacheco in the female leads. It isn't a GREAT movie. It does have some flaws. But it is a GOOD movie. PS - if you get a chance to see it, make sure to stick around for the outtakes AFTER the credits.
