Hugo Santiago made an interesting if minor little movie in the late seventies called "écoute voir" where Catherine Deneuve played a private eye dressed like Marlowe.
Here we go again.Another long-haired private eye, with a long gray beard, investigates a shady rich person's death. This is the beginning of an interminable story, extremely boring, with an exasperating voice-over-you might understand why at the end-.A lotta nudities.Cat Stevens's song "Lady D'Arbanville" whose connection with the movie escapes me.And Santiago's fixation about Jules Verne: (which was already present in "écoute voir" and its mysterious ray)the Nemo family.
If you can watch it till its end, congratulations!
