If you hadn't heard, this is "Psych's" final season (we know, we're upset too), but it's going out with a bang. There is nary a misstep between now and the series finale on March 26. Wednesday's (Feb. 5) episode starts the countdown to the end off right, with Dulé Hill's magnum opus as Burton Guster.
When John Russell, a man living a carbon-copy of Gus' life, dies in an apparent suicide, Gus is bound and determined to prove that he (Gus Russ) didn't kill himself. It was a ton of fun watching Gus be the head detective for once, since nobody believes him that Russell was actually murdered.
There's also the introduction of Emanuelle (Kali Hawk), a private detective and love interest for Gus. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of her. It was also awesome to see Gus throw off the shackles of Central Coast Pharmaceuticals after all these years. »
On the heels of the horribly Photoshopped poster that was released earlier this week, we now have the debut trailer for the new comedy Walk of Shame, courtesy of Yahoo! While it's not the funniest spot I've seen, there is something about it that makes me want to reserve judgement until I've seen more. Written and directed by Steven Brill, whose previous credits include the Adam Sandler comedies Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds, the film tells the tale of Meghan Miles (Elizabeth Banks), a TV reporter who dreams of one day getting to sit in the anchor's chair. Alone and miserable one night, she lets her friends talk her into going out partying, which results in plenty of drunkenness, meeting a cute boy (James Marsden) and going home with him. The next morning she wakes up to learn that she is going to get her shot as a network news »
While Elizabeth Banks has mostly been relegated to meaty supporting roles in films like People Like Us, The Hunger Games, The Next Three Days and Role Models, this time she's taking the lead on the comedy Walk of Shame. It's a classic race against time as Banks plays a local news reporter who has the sudden opportunity to become a network news anchor. The only problem is after her car is towed following a one night stand (with James Marsden), she has no phone, ID or money, and finds herself stranded and desperate to make it to the interview. This trailer reminds me of that movie Trojan War from 1997 with "Boy Meets World" star Will Friedle looking everywhere for a condom. And that's not a compliment. Watch! Here's the first trailer for Steven Brill's Walk of Shame, originally from Yahoo: Walk of Shame is written and directed by Steven Brill (Mr. Deeds, »

It’s been far too long since we last saw Banks really take the lead in a comedy like this, and bringing what is in essence a female take to the likes of The Hangover sounds like a winning formula to me, possibly even one that could launch a bit of an unexpected franchise here.
Following the poster debut for the film yesterday, Focus World has released the first trailer over on Yahoo Movies. And whilst it’s not strictly red-band, it does use a five-letter word beginning with B, so it may be best not watch this if you’re at work.

Having been absent from our screens for a little while now in a leading comedy role, comedienne Elizabeth Banks is about to make her return to centre stage this spring in the R-rated comedy, Walk of Shame.
The first trailer is set to debut online this Wednesday, and Focus World has launched the first poster to whet your appetite over on Yahoo Movies.
After losing an audition for her dream job, an aspiring Los Angeles TV news anchor goes out for an uncharacteristic night of partying. She awakes in a stranger’s bed to a phone message from her agent telling her the job is hers, if she can make it across town by 5 pm. Stranded in an unknown area without money, a phone, and a car, she embarks on a series of misadventures as she races to the most important job interview of her life.
