The marchers carry homemade cardboard signs with slogans written on them. When shown from behind, some have modern printing ("Made in China") on them that are not appropriate for 1972.
The clothing on some of the crowd at the start of the civil rights march clearly revealed clothes such as tracksuit bottoms,a rain jacket with a sports logo across the front and a sweatshirt on a young boy at the side of the road which had the letters U.S.A on that were not manufactured at that time.
