I cant believe that up until now (late 2005) no one has commented on this DVD! You needn't be a fan of Daft Punk to get the most out of this DVD. In fact, if you're simply a fan of the art of music videos then this is a must. Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry and ROman Coppola lend their talents to this small collection of Daft Punk films.
All of these videos can be found on other dvds (Director's Series) so perhaps that's why no one has commented on this particular DVD. The only negative to this is after each video plays, it reverts back to the main menu. There is no way to "Play All".
The highlight video for me is Michel Gondry's "Around the World" with it's awesome light display and choreography. This clip would have to go down as one of the all time greats.
There is also a collection of "behind the scenes" on the videos as well as select commentary.
Flip the disk over and you have a 20-30 minute live show from Daft Punk which will satisfy the fan base.
If you enjoy this, check our Daft Punk's Interstalla 5555. It's brilliant!
