A thinking persons slash-em- up.

Bushido blade is a game that a lot of fighting game fans detest , mainly because of the games "one hit and your dead " fighting system .You see, once you get hit by your opponent with a deadly wepon in your head or stomach ,your dead (as in real life. ). I think that this is a great touch -it adds a sense of realism to the game and makes you play better in order to avoid your opponents deadly swipes . It also requires you to think and use perfect timing for an attack - just like a real martial art.

There are a few problems with bushido blade , like a slightly awkward control system as well as boring characters and historical innacuracies in the setting that will get in the way of your enjoyment of the game .

But these problems are nothing serious enough to bring down the quality of this solid slice of sword play .
