Goofs | John Sewell had an obvious opportunity to make the motorcycle cop aware that he (Sewell) and his family were being held hostage by criminal-on-the-run Dewar when the latter was clearly out of earshot during Sewell's conversation with the cop. Sewell could easily have surreptitiously whispered the emergency situation or likewise used telling facial expressions which would have alerted the cop to quietly leave the scene and later notify the police dragnet to set up roadblocks.
