Spencer Pratt says he managed his money like a "straight lunatic."
During a recent interview on PodcastOne's LadyGang podcast, hosted by The Insider's Keltie Knight, actress Becca Tobin and designer Jac Vanek, Pratt -- who is expecting his first child with wife Heidi Montag -- revealed how he lost $10 million in the years after The Hills ended.
"That’s definitely a fact. It’s so easy to do that," Pratt confessed. "I was the guy that, like, handed my friends stacks of cash, like, ‘I got you bro.’ Straight lunatic."
"My ego was so big that I was like, ‘Oh, I’m going to be Tom Cruise, so money’s not a thing.’ And then you listen to gangsta rap about ‘spend, spend, spend,’ all day. I’m like, 'Spend, spend, spend.' So my advice would be, like, listen »
Throughout the 1990s, Jeremy Jackson rose to fame playing David Hasselhoff‘s mischievous yet lovable on-screen son Hobie Buchannon on the hit series Baywatch — but more than 20 years later, the former teen heartthrob is serving out a jail sentence after striking a plea deal for allegedly stabbing a woman in Los Angeles.
As it turns out, this isn’t Jackson’s first time getting in trouble with the law. Here’s a look back at how the troubled actor shot to stardom before falling into a years-long downward spiral.
Jackson, now 36, was born in Newport Beach, California. He »

On Feb. 22, the 36-year-old actor pleaded no contest to one felony count of assault with a deadly weapon, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office confirms to People. (A no-contest plea is functionally identical to a guilty plea, though the defendant does not admit guilt to the charges.)
On March 2, Jackson was sentenced to 270 days in the L.A. County Jail and placed on five years’ probation, according to the L. »

This journey from the Apprentice to president only exemplifies the infiltration of TV conventions and digital manipulation into our everyday lives
On the face of it, with an Apprentice host in the White House, reality TV and plain old reality appear to be merging. Does this imply that, unable to compete with the dyspeptic clatter from the White House, reality TV has now run its course? Or can we expect it, for the same reasons, to grow ever more extreme?

Here’s an idea for jaded British TV commissioning editors: give your flagging reality TV show a thermonuclear boost
Barely four minutes after the conclusion of the most recent Celebrity Big Brother, I am intrigued to see a rash of headlines speculating as to who will be in the summer line-up. Previously a once-a-year-event, Celebrity Big Brother now appears to be a rolling facility – a sort of career spa to which celebrities can repair to take the waters when recovering from the other formats. Just as the jet set use the seasons as a verb to describe the migration from Gstaad to the Amalfi coast, there are now people who winter in the jungle and summer in Elstree.
And yet, is it not time to give these shows a thermonuclear modern boost? In short: when is reality television going to accept its new repertory company, and formally embrace the alt-right? »

The celebrity ski-jumping show is back this week, despite leaving many competitors gravely injured. So why on Earth would the sporting hero sign up?
It has always been my understanding that there are only two types of celebrity reality show. There are the gruellingly physical blockbusters like Strictly Come Dancing, where participants dedicate months to learning a new skill from scratch but at least they’ll be seen by millions of people. And there are the easy payday shows like Celebrity Big Brother, where you turn up and do nothing and it doesn’t really matter because nobody’s watching.
And then there is The Jump.

Housemates must choose between food and seeing their families – an idea cribbed from Guantánamo Bay
As Donald Trump gets his latest dose of stick for his support of torture, people in Britain seem ignorant of the fact that not only does torture occur in this country, but it is, in fact, televised.
Celebrity Big Brother was once just a showbiz variant of a simple idea, and we seemed satisfied to watch what happened when a group of people were imprisoned in exchange for six months of Heat magazine exclusives and a fitness DVD contract. In response to our withering attention spans, though, some sort of celebrity mutation scheme has taken place and the house is now populated with the results of the lab; monstrous, self-involved freaks, who stomp around the house screaming about what they have been through and how their issue is more important than the issue of whatever »

Any regular readers (there must be a few of you; there must be) will be more than aware of this writer’s borderline obsessive love for the movies of one John Carpenter. You’ve got your Halloween, The Thing, They Live or The Fog, but everyone knows the real quality comes in the form of the later films in this cult film-maker, lord of the synth and accomplished ‘tache-wearer’s career and the classics that are Escape From L.A and his TV-movie take on Village Of The Damned. No? Ok, those are both more than a little iffy, but with the latest Blu-ray release of two other generally maligned late efforts in Carpenter’s body of work, we ask the age-old question 'Was Vampires really that bad?'
[[tmz:video id="0_lyu3h662"]] Ray J has been fired from "Celebrity Big Brother" because the show was super concerned over his dental problems, sources connected with Ray tell TMZ ... but it just doesn't add up. As Kim Kardashian returns to the spotlight on social media, her ex, Ray J, can’t stop talking about the reality star. The musician and TV personality is currently a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother where the topic of their relationship and infamous sex tape has come up more than once.
When Francis told Ray J that she though Kardashian had been “really really” in love with him, he replied, “Nah, but she was a player though.”
Francis, who knows both Ray J’s sister Brandy and Kardashian, said, “She was not a player. She was crying her eyes out over you!”
Ray J continued to disagree about the nature of the split, adding, “Put it »
Ray J is still using his scandalous connection to Kim Kardashian to his benefit. The musician is one of this year’s contestants on Britain’s Celebrity Big Brother, and in his intro montage on Tuesday’s episode, he got crass when talking about his infamous sex tape.
“You might know me for a lot of things – music, reality TV, oh, and you might also know me for my d**k,” he declared, giggling. “People wanna know about the sex tape with me and Kim Kardashian. Order it, put some money in my pocket… Y’all still j**king off to the sex tape? Enjoy!”
Ray J then walked out wearing bright red pants and a Union Jack shirt, while his song “Hit It First” played in the background. The 2013 track was a direct reference to Kardashian and her famous romances »
Heidi and Spencer Pratt's return to the "Celebrity Big Brother" UK house didn't come cheap ... the show dropped hundreds of thousands of dollars for the couple to come in and cause trouble.
