Janet Jackson's controversial Super Bowl performance is causing her more heartache - Disney have removed a Mickey Mouse statue inspired by the singer from their Florida theme-park. The Rhythm Nation star sparked furious reaction in her native America last month when she performed a duet with Justin Timberlake which ended in her bejewelled breast being exposed. And, after being forced to pull out of the Grammys thanks to the scandal, all trace of Jackson is now being removed from Walt Disney World in Orlando too. Gary Foster, a spokesman for Disney, confirmed the statue had been replaced by one designed by a one of their own artists. He says, "Considering all the controversy it drew, we talked it over for a couple of days and decided it would be best to replace hers with a new one." »

Scandalous superstar Janet Jackson will pose topless for the cover of her upcoming album - despite inciting fury across America with her controversial Super Bowl performance. The Rhythm Nation singer - who exposed her pierced right breast to millions of American TV viewers on February 1 - will be photographed wearing only jeans, although her arms will be covering her chest. Many will see the move as a direct attempt to front up to the furor surrounding her duet with Justin Timberlake, which has already resulted in a Tennessee woman suing both singers and MTV, CBS and Viacom for "serious injury". Janet's spokesperson at Virgin records confirms, "She just wanted a simple and youthful picture that she felt people would like. It's beautiful, soft. So far, fans love it. The Web sites have been going crazy." The record, Damita Jo, titled after Jackson's middle name, will hit stores on March 30. »
