one more time into the land or Faust & the DEVIL
26 December 2002 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The legend of Faust & his selling of his soul to the Devil has been made many, many times into one film or another. This time it is High School students turn to make that dreaded pact. All the usual elements of the legend are present.

This version is an out & out comedic one. Robert Townsend & Morgan Fairchild are the emissaries from hades. Josh Zuckerman is our Faust this time out, He is a very fine young actor & is very adept in comedy. The film is very silly in spots, but young Josh, makes it watchable. The production is of the TV variety & the acting by all is good.
