Storyline

Long ago, in a little Viking Village called Flake, young Wickie lives a happy life. His father, Halvar, is the chief of the Vikings, and would have liked a son a little more courageous. So, he and his team take Wicke along on their journeys to give him the experience he'll need to be a real Viking. Yet, somehow Halvar and his men end up trapped or hopelessly stuck somewhere in most cases, and it's up to Wickie alone to help them out with his flashes of wit. Great cartoon from the 70s
21 January 2015 | by (Montreal, Canada) – See all my reviews

As I saw recently a 3D version of this tale of a young Viking boy, son of a leader named Alvar, made me remember of the original series.

Was well dubbed in Quebec by French-Canadian comedians like Ronald France, Flora Balzano (Vic), Jean-Louis Millette, Julien Bessette, Benoit Marleau and others (the former "Mont-Royal Synchro"), this dynamic dubbing crew did respect the freshness and wackiness of this motley crew of Vikings, always saved by the intelligence of Vic. Though his friends called him a coward due to his fear of wolves, he has admiration from his girlfriend and the tribe itself. Even "Sven the Terrible" was out casted by the boy's sudden flash ideas.

Well, great memories from childhood. Get on the drakkar for a load of fun.
