10/10
Author: zzmale

The recent rapid economic expansion in China is turning everyone away from each other. People are concentrated on making more money if they are successful, and if not successful, they have to simply concentrate on surviving in the fierce competition of market economy. Everyone is turning into a working machine, as the way they are making contacts via pagers, and the interpersonal relationships of old era was gone. The deeper meaning behind the plots is to question the effect of modernity.
