"Blue Moses" is a 10-minute short film from over 50 years ago and American filmmaker Stan Brakhage made this one in the early stages of his career. It's obvious he was still looking for his style here as this one looks completely different to what he did later and without knowing, I would not have expected him to be the man behind this this. He made a couple black-and-white silent films early in his career and this is one. But it is not better than his usual stuff later on. It is just different and still bad. The contents were really strange and I had no clue what was going on. I sometimes complain that Brakhage is not even trying to include plots in his experimental films, but if it turns out as bad as it does here, then maybe that's a good thing. I do not recommend the watch. Thumbs down.
