Highly recommended documentary on an unpleasant yet riveting subject
8 September 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Revolting yet fascinating at the same time. I could not stop watching this compelling documentary.

Writer and director English works to understand the causes behind this troubling behavior, yet her subjects seem not to understand why they are who they are.

We need more studies like this one to comprehend why individuals not only want to eat the flesh of other humans but also feel they must do so. My only disappointment with the production is why the Ms. English didn't think to explore the carnivorousness in flesh-eaters, specifically those eating non-human animals, and the psychological (and other) differences between carnivores and vegetarians.
