Familiar faces (and bodies) in wall-to-wall porn
lor_6 December 2010
TURN-ON ORGY is truth in advertising, a brief (or if you don't enjoy it, interminable) porn film that consists solely of an endless orgy.

I guess that's more of the Andy Warhol influence, as he was apparently (and unintentionally) perhaps the greatest instigator of a decade of porn thanks to his proving in the '60s that anyone can make a film -all you need is a camera.

In this case, instead of imitating his character-driven hits like I, A MAN or NUDE RESTAURANT, the anonymous filmmakers seem to have gone back to EMPIRE or SLEEP, Warhol's classic exercises in boredom. The sex unfolds here nonstop, with no story, acting or dialog, just humping & groaning. Occasionally partners change. The big deal is a buxom girl spending at least 10 minutes giving John Holmes and his almost erect member a blow job until he finally ejaculates (plentifully), cueing applause.

The cast keeps looking at the camera, and a brief voice-over near the end asks "What are we going to do for excitement next week?".

Among the familiars are Stephanie Sarver and Tommy Toole, who made several films together at the beginning of the hardcore porn era and then disappeared. John Keith is on hand, but as usual we never see him actually get it up for a hardcore insertion. It adds up to one of the shorter programmers resurrected by Something Weird, included on Vol. 205 of its Dragon Arts Theatre series.
