American Photography: A Century of Images is about various magazines, newspapers, and photographers talking about how photography has changed our culture. Moderately political in nature, the narrators talk about the impact different kinds and methods of photography. The major breakthroughs and ground breaking decisions made to use photos instead of words and with words to tell the story of humanity. Lots of good information on the beginnings of photography, some a surprise and some not so surprising. A must watch for the nostalgic and those that haven't given photography much thought. An instant in time through a small view finder has the power to change the world. An instant in time that will never be seen again.
