Robert Pattinson's Hot 'Fun Sex' With Natalia Tena

7 December 2011 10:52 AM, PST | TheImproper.com | See recent TheImproper.com news »

Robert Pattinson and actress Natalia Tena share more than a few things in common. Both are British and both had parts in the Harry Potter series. And, they had sex… onscreen that is. Natalia tells all. Tena, 27, landed her first film role in 2002 comedy “About a Boy,” with Hugh Grant, Rachel Weisz and Nicholas Hoult. Rob, 25, plays Georges Duroy, a down-on-his-luck soldier who becomes a ruthless social climber in Paris in "Bel Ami." Natalia plays Rachel, a bawdy prostitute who finds her way into Georges’ arms for some hot sex. »

From Goofy Kids To Hollywood Hunks

2 December 2011 6:06 AM, PST | The Backlot | See recent The Backlot news »

Hollywood can be a tough place to navigate the transition from youth to adulthood. Child actors are usually dorky, awkward little ragamuffins. But to be an adult actor, they need you to look like you were sculpted by Michelangelo.

So making the transition from child actor to adult can be nearly impossible for some to whom nature was not so kind. Some actors, like Josh Saviano (Paul from Wonder Years) simply get out of the business. But some persevere and, with a little help from good genes and a personal trainer, become successful actors as adults.

Seeing the picture of Jonathan Lipnicki that Ae recently posted had me thinking about how some boys we remember as looking like this:

Can miraculously turn into guyslike this:

So I thought it would be fun to look at some of the other young actors who have grown up rather nicely. Keep in mind, »

Colin Firth is Rachel Weisz's 'Railway Man'

28 November 2011 7:44 AM, PST | NextMovie | See recent NextMovie news »

Rachel Weisz has a knack for finding herself in the right place at the right time, particularly when the right place involves a hunky British actor.

The altar where blond Bond Daniel Craig happened to be standing in a suit, waiting to get married? Check. The set of "About a Boy," where Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult were gearing up to sing "Killing Me Softly"? You betcha.

Weisz is using her heat-seeking talent once again in the upcoming film "The Railway Man," based on the Eric Lomax book of the same name, which has her starring alongside Mr. Darcy himself, Colin Firth.

The movie, helmed by "Better Than Sex" director Jonathan Teplitzky, tells the story of Lomax's imprisonment and torture in a Japanese Pow camp during World War II.  "War Horse" star Jeremy Irvine will play Lomax as a young man and Firth will play him as an adult. Weisz will star as Lomax's wife, »

Movies Worth Listening To: 10 Great Soundtracks

23 November 2011 4:13 PM, PST | SoundOnSight | See recent SoundOnSight news »

There’s a particular joy that comes from an excellent soundtrack accompanying an excellent movie. When the music matches the moment, from The Full Monty to Pulp Fiction to Cool Runnings, we experience a moment of aesthetic contentment.

But what about when the soundtrack is infinitely superior to the film? Buying soundtracks is often a great musical choice, because you get songs from a variety of artists – but what if the film they accompany was mediocre? Or worse still, one you’d never consider (or admit to) watching in a million years?

Here are a few that deserve to be placed in brown paper covers, or filed in itunes under a different name:

The ok-movie-Kickass soundtracks:

10 – About a Boy is a feelgood romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant (how very surprising, I hear you gasp), with a lovely script. It’s one of those films you enjoy, but can’t really remember. »

Acclaimed About A Boy writer/director Paul Weitz has partnered with Focus Features and Tribeca Productions to bring another much beloved book to the silver screen. Based on Nick Flynn's bestselling 2004 memoir, Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, Being Flynn chronicles the journey of writer Nick (Paul Dano) as he endeavors to reunite with his estranged father, Jonathan (Robert De Niro). The films exposes Nick's poignant childhood, where his single mother (Julianne Moore) raised him in his father's absence. Now a young adult living in Boston after the untimely death of his mother, Nick yearns to connect with Jonathan, an everyman writer who holds himself in very high esteem - as a literary icon on par with Mark Twain and J.D. Salinger, no less. But in truth, Jonathan is a struggling alcoholic, whom social worker Nick tracks down at a homeless shelter. While the memoir's title refers to Jonathan's »

Robert De Niro is a Bad Father in Trailer for 'Being Flynn'

15 November 2011 3:42 PM, PST | GetTheBigPicture.net | See recent Get The Big Picture news »

I've always been a sucker for a good father and son drama, and the new film Being Flynn starring Robert De Niro and Paul Dano fits the bill.  This possible tear jerker comes from writer/director Paul Weitz, who made another film I really enjoyed years ago called About a Boy.

Being Flynn is based on the memoirs of writer Nick Flynn, and tells the story of a young man (Dano) who just happens to come across his estranged father (De Niro) a few times, while working in various homeless shelters in Boston. »

Trailer for Being Flynn Starring Robert De Niro

15 November 2011 2:27 PM, PST | Reelzchannel.com | See recent ReelzChannel news »

The first trailer for Robert De Niro's new movie, Being Flynn, is now online. It's based on poet and playwright Nick Flynn's 2004 memoir Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, in which he chronicles his unexpected reunion with his estranged alcoholic father at a homeless shelter in Boston.

Being Flynn marks a return to more dramatic material for writer-director Paul Weitz, who earned an Academy Award nomination for his 2002 dramedy adaptation About a Boy, but then subsequently strayed into parody (American Dreamz), fantasy (Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant), and comedy (Little Fockers, also with De Niro). The movie does not yet have a release date, but it is aimed at a Spring 2012 opening.

‘Being Flynn’ Trailer: Robert De Niro Is A Homeless Crazy Man

15 November 2011 1:39 PM, PST | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Paul Weitz started his directorial career off well with films like American Pie and About a Boy, but thereafter experienced diminishing critical/financial returns from titles such as In Good Company, American Dreamz, and Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant… that is, until he hit a new box office high (but critical low) with Little Fockers in 2010.

Now P. Weitz is trying his hand at writing and directing another literary adaptation: Being Flynn, a cinematic treatment of Nick Flynn’s 2004 memoir, “Another Bulls**t Night in Suck City”. The project was (at one point) going under the truncated title Another Night.

Being Flynn stars Paul Dano (Little Miss Sunshine, There Will Be Blood) as Nick, an aspiring writer who has long been troubled by the memory of his absent father, Jonathan (Robert De Niro). Sheer coincidence rears its ...

‘Being Flynn’ Trailer – Robert De Niro and Paul Dano Deal With Another Bullsh*t Night in Suck City

15 November 2011 7:00 AM, PST | Slash Film | See recent Slash Film news »

[1] After a promising start that included sweet, gentle About a Boy, Paul Weitz's career hasn't been doing so well these past few years. His more recent work include American Dreamz, Cirque du Freak, and Little Fockers, none of which are exactly creative smashes. But if the moving trailer for his next project, Being Flynn, is any indication, Weitz could be on his way up again. Based on Nick Flynn's acclaimed memoir Another Bullshit Night in Suck City, Being Flynn centers around the relationship between a young writer (Paul Dano) and his absentee father (De Niro). The two cross paths one night at a homeless shelter, where the son works and the dad is seeking a room. Watch the trailer after the jump.
