Girls mistreated; so is the audience
6 July 2010 | by (New York, New York) – See all my reviews

Amateur-night hardcore porn doesn't sink much lower than this one -a boring and incoherent tale of three girls in bondage. Nowadays thousands of these videos are shot softcore and slotted mischievously into the "Adventure" genre by IMDb, but this one is just junk.

A disgusting headmistress, who looks like a tall version of Janeane Garofolo due to the glasses she wears (my apologies, JG), subjects her reform school charges to more than corporal punishment. This being porn, they get a whiff of the old nipple torture. A school superintendent named Taylor visits once in awhile -his "acting" is among the crummiest I've ever seen. Instead of helping the girls as he promised, he has sex with them. The sets are unconvincing -they couldn't even afford to give the girls a minimalist dorm to sleep in.

The only interesting thing about this anonymous, generic porn film is that the makers decided to steal liberally from the historic Booker Little/Eric Dolphy 1961 live date at the Five Spot, preserved on Prestige Records almost 40 years ago. Hearing Dolphy's classic flute and bass clarinet solos once again took my mind off the dreary on-screen action.

This cheapie has been resurrected on Vol. 8 of Something Weird's Dragon Art Theatre series, and like many of the other titles it has the final reel shredded, rendering the plot resolution moot. I'm a sucker, I always watch my movies to the bitter end and once again I'm left hanging.
