A very relevant story even today . Ooha is the centre of the story. She is from a poor family run by Chandramohan . Teh family faces a lot of day to day problems .she lives with Varalakshmi her first sister abondened by her husband lusty
Bharani and her second unmarried sister . Bharani also moves in with them citing unemployment . When she falls in love with Srikanth who is from a middle class himself , first his miser father Kota refuses tomarry them off but later relents after seeing her salary . At the time of marriage he dies in a freak accident . Ooha is left alone and keeps shunting from Bharani to Kota . They try to exploit her for her job and salary and beauty . Blinded by her beauty and supported by a spineless wife , Bharani ties the thali on her neck . She throws it back . She later mets Naresh a gentleman who wishes to marry her even after knwoing her full story . Greedy for her salary Kota and Bharani file a case against her saying she is already married. Later on the insistence of Hema her mother in law , Kota agrees tomarry her off but tries to molest her to stop her marriage . Hema kills Kota in rage . Ooha ends up marrying Naresh. The whole movie is about problems women face .Not mch is told about Naresh and his back ground except that he dresses and acts well , Ooha looks pretty in sarees .The parallel track of Brahmanandam is loud and irrelevant .
