Trivia:
This is the fourth time that Bruce Timm and his team redesigned Batman. This version is similar to the classic Bob Kane Batman, which also is similar in design to the "Batman Beyond" (1999) design. Similarities between the two are the lengths of the ears on the mask, the figure and the boots having heels.See more »

The best written cartoon on TV, 28 May 2003
Author: meanie997

This show is absolutely amazing. What more can I say?! It's smart, with no fluff at all and puts a human spin to the comic book superhero genre without lacking in action. Pretty much in the same vein as Batman the animate series and Batman: Beyond. This show is so great and (dare I say) adult that it really puts the ultra campy, monkey written Super Friends to shame. The only complaints are the time and cliff hangers, Friday at 6 was a bad time for me personally so as a result I usually caught the tail end of the two parter or missed the resolution whenever I watched it. Since every episode is broken in to 2 parts it might be a good idea for cartoon network to expand the show to an hour. Other than that, top notch animation, amazing stories, great voice acting. Hey, what more could you want from a cartoon?
