Bands on the run rules!
23 July 2001 | by See all my reviews

It's good to see a quality reality show so much after the incredibly dull ones like big brother. I think it's vh1's success that they've chosen very interesting individuals as contestants. Everyone on the show brings something unique to it and makes it better. They're all fun, competitive and challenging. But considering their talents as musicians, it's obvious that Flickerstick is ready for success. They have what it takes to be in a rock & roll band. They drink, they pull pranks, they break hearts and they fight. They're real. And when the time comes, they're all about the music. They're all very talented musicians who I believe will make it bigtime if given the chance. Frankly I wasn't one bit surprised when they won the battle of bands and got the prize after being in the last place for so long. It's just so typical of them! They just felt doing something about it and won when everyone thought they were going to lose. For Soulcracker, I think they need to solve the inner personality differences they have if they want to survive in the long run. And for Harlow, at first I didn't like them so much with their vampirish bitchy attitude, then towards the end I realized they're actually good people. I wish them all the success.
