Storyline

Dead bodies are being found in the New York harbor. The police have no clues nor suspects until Nick and his colleague realize the killer is a giant octopus. bad, but not effort-less.

Okay, don't expect a movie titled "Octopus 2: river of fear" to change the world, but it is still a entertaining piece of b-movie that is actually does to seem to have compentent direction and fairly high production values, when you consider it was made as a direct-to-video quicky by nu image entertainment.

also, the performances show a little more effort than most low-budget films, and the script isn't too bad either, making this a fun outing for fans of cheese movies. So, this movie is no great shakes, but at least can manage to be worth a rental.
