Storyline

Ganesh is an elephant who belongs to a Forest Officer in Southern India. One day he witnesses his master being killed by a Poacher and his two brothers, and marks his master's grave with 3 numbers. Years later, a wrestler, by the name of Munna, wins Ganesh as his prize and brings him home. Shortly thereafter, Ganesh is able to recognize his first master's killers and kills the two brothers of the Poacher. Before he could arrange the death of the Poacher, Munna's ailing mom is abducted from the hospital and Munna himself ends up being captured by the Poacher. Will Ganesh be able to save his new master, or will he witness Munna's death also? Written by rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)

Mithun's Charisma Is Impeccable - Period
21 August 2009 | by (India) – See all my reviews

Mithun is one actor who always stands out, in all of his films. The Superstar has starred in over 300+ films and his charm is never-ending.

'Jodidar' is one such film. The movie is entertaining no doubt, but it's Mithun who makes even the not-so-catchy moments entertaining. The TLV Prasad directed flick has it's share of interesting moments, good music and of course Mithun.

Performance wise: Mithun steals the show with a class performance. Aditya Panscholi is good in a guest appearance. The villains are routine. Prem Chopra is funny.

on the whole 'Jodidar' is a decent flick, with Mithun stealing all the thunder.

By the way, this film released in 1997, not 2000.
