From aboard the IMDboat at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Smith talks to the cast of "Teen Wolf" about the solemn yet celebratory panel for the upcoming season. This news and more in our Guide to Comic-Con.
I always enjoyed watching the smaller of the famous comedy duo is the wonderfully funny sketches in The Two Ronnies, but I had never seen him doing his stand-up comedy, and this show was my opportunity to do that. Ronnie Corbett plays to an audience of well known celebrity faces with his routine of corny, cheesy, simple - whatever you want to call them - jokes, about pretty much anything and everything that anyone can relate too. You can argue that his jokes aren't always that funny and not all that original, but you can forgive him because such a kind and charming man, and he does some singing as well. Celebrities in the audience either asking a question or just watching him perform include Ronnie Barker, Magnus Magnusson, Frank Skinner, David Baddiel, Sir Bruce Forsyth, Uri Geller, Martin Jarvis, Desmond Llewelyn, John McCririck, Melinda Messenger, Nicholas Parsons, Liz Smith, Peter Stringfellow, Bradley Walsh and Samantha Womack. Ronnie Corbett was number 21 on Britain's Favourite Comedian, he was number 88 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups, he was number 80 on 100 Greatest Stand-Ups 2010, and An Audience with... was number 26 on ITV's 50 Greatest Shows. Worth watching, at least once, in my opinion!
