Storyline

Karan is a former soldier. One day when Karan finds out that his father committed suicide in prison after he is falsely charged with a crime, he suspects Ravi Verma, a city attorney who has a wife and a kid. When Karan spots Ravi on the street with his wife Kajal, he abruptly shoots Ravi and Kajal; however, Ravi survives the murder and Kajal ends up dead. After Ravi's release from the hospital, he does not realize that he has a new and different wife who looks exactly like Kajal, later on he does. While Ravi's life continues, Karan's revenge also continues against Ravi. Ravi claims that it wasn't his idea to set Karan's father up, it may be Ravi's father-in-law and his colleagues who may be responsible. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

At one point, Bihari (Harish Patel) tries to get fresh with Kajri (Mahima Chaudhry) and tells her he will help her to get work in the movies as Subhash Ghai is a good friend of his. Good Plot but ruined with commercial ingredients
5 May 2009 | by (India) – See all my reviews

Raj Kanwar's films were rarely different but he made some good films like LAADLA, JUDAAI This film starts off well with Chandrachur shown as a lawyer who puts Shivaji in bars, the initial scenes show promise of a high engaging film but then the film succumbs to mediocrity

It becomes a routine revenge saga with lots of action scenes, song.etc

Sanjay Dutt shooting Mahima and Chandrachur is well handled but then the film doesn't give Sanju much chance to exploit his talent, he becomes his usual self with guns doing the talking but his eyes and expressions give the right tone

The film however has a lot of stupidity like Sanju jumping from a building towards the end and landing down safe and shooting goons and then reaching the right place at the right time with a gun to shoot the goons

The climax too is too filmy and bad

Directorally Raj Kanwar shows potential at the start but looses it Music is okay

Chandrachur Singh acts decently in his role though his voice robs his role from intensity Sanjay Dutt as i said expresses it well but his role doesn't give him much scope Mahima excels in her roles Amongst rest Raj Babbar hams as usual, Mohan Joshi, Deepak Shirke, Harish Patel are as usual
