Bunnicula
11 December 2013 | by (USA) – See all my reviews

The story (from this cartoon) is that the Monroe family finds a bunny in a box. Family pets Harold the dog and Chester the cat suspect that the bunny, named Bunnicula, is a vampire who has been draining all the vegetables of their juices. The neighbors also suspect Bunnicula of causing strange accidents. Is the bunny really the cause of these things or is something else going on? I grew up with the Bunnicula books, written by James Howe. This cartoon is loosely based on the first book in the series. Although it doesn't follow the book too closely, it's still cute and enjoyable in its own way. Nice Ruby Spears animation. Give it a shot if you can find it.
