John & Yoko's Year of Peace is a retrospective look at the world issues which plagued society and chronicles, in a way, John Lennon's life in those precious few months before the Beatles broke up in 1970. There is everything you might expect, like old footage of the couple speaking to the world press from their bedside, concert clips, and the obligatory hippie dancing unawaredly on a hilltop. But the documentary is so much more than that. The interviews (including Yoko) are sometimes humorous, but always warm. Highly recommended.
