"Die Waffen-SS" consisted of more than 800000 German elite-troops that fought on the battlefields of the Second World War in the years between 1939 to 1945. The "Waffen-SS" was a military part of "SS", which again was the organisation which organised the consentration-camps. The "Waffen-SS" troops were political soldiers that obeyed Hitler`s orders blindly, and they were known for being exceptionally brutal and fanatic on the battlefields, and thus different from their comrades in "Die Wehrmacht"(the German army).
