Motion sickness

Friðrik Þór is the most talented director from Iceland. Hringurinn is a simple movie, you can drive a circle around Iceland, this is called hringurinn, good fun and people still do this hring in the summer. Friðrik stuck a camera on the top of a car and drove around Iceland. this movie is a fast forward of this journey, around Iceland in 80 minutes think this is about 1339 km so in 80 minutes means a lot of movement in after some time i had to look away, getting motion sick and confused cause i had no idea what was happening. 1985 most of the roads in Iceland were terrible. Avant Garde or Experimental Cinema all the way, took me a while to digest this, first i hated it then kind of liked the idea and the humor of this and now i give it a solid 7. Young director with a camera and a budget that could not cover more than the fuel and hot dogs. Good work

This movie is just wonderful. They drive around Iceland in less than an hour, that is it took days to record but the movie is shown fast in less than an hour. You'll see Iceland from a very special point of view.
