Excellent short..., beautifully shot, well acted, funny, interesting...

and more... "Boundaries" is an example of a near perfect short film. It has an engaging story but also something beneath..that is, some sort of metaphor too it.

Rich characters throughout, well, mainly on the Mexico side of things. Some great location cinematography, solid acting, the man with the trombone is on the verge of breaking into the big time sort of.

Very artistic and I mean that in a good way (the thought of an 'art film' will drive audiences away screaming). This thing did very well on the festival circuit I believe.

Greg Durbin is a Professor of film in San Diego and I strongly suspect that some if not all of the incoherent/negative comments on this page are by spurned students.

Nevertheless, some may not like such an artistic piece but such people shouldn't waste there time watching short films. I have made a few myself and in some ways they are bound to be pointless but boundaries breaks out of that category. Great work, can't wait for the follow up Greg!
