When Tangie, a teddy bear goes into the Smile-erator on his head, his smile is put on upside down, causing him to end up on the bargain bin on Christmas Eve with other misfit toys, then onto Winkle's Emporium, a discount store. My son saw the cover and picked out this movie. I didn't know anything about it, but it is a great movie. He is 5 years old and it really captured his attention. He normally wants to watch movies with the "good guys" battling the "bad guys", but he chooses this movie over those most of the time.
The actors chosen to voice the characters are perfect for their roles. I especially enjoy Tom Bosley as the shopkeeper and David Hyde Pierce as the cuckoo. I also appreciate the idea of home being where ever there are people who love each other. I would recommend it highly to anyone with children.
