A forgettable work
8 April 2014 | by (Dubai) – See all my reviews

A not so great movie with a very familiar and predictable storyline. It completely fails to impress on all fronts; be it story, screenplay, acting and even music but still tolerable. Ashok Kumar, K.N.Singh and Nazir Hussain have done well. Shyama has nothing to do except nursing Raja's wounds. Mehmood was not given plenty of chances to show his comical fervor. Otherwise, no significant performance to talk about. Ravis' music is good for S.H.Bihari lyrics but completely forgettable; 1) Isi Ka Naam Duniya Hai, 2) Ya Habibi O Ya Karibi, 3) Akad Kar Ja Rahe Hain, 4) Jahan Jayenge Diwane, 5) Mujhko Sahara Denewale and 6) Ye Mehfil Ye Botal Ye. Forget it.
