Celebrities explain how The Beatles (who only appear in archival footage) and their music touched their lives.
It seems that ever since the Beatles Anthology came out 7 years ago in 1995 (was it really that long ago?!?) it seems almost customary for there to be a new Beatles special every few years.
I've been a huge Beatles fan for a long time and have to say that this special did a great job introducing the guys to people who knew nothing about them. Of course if you need to complain about anything it would be that they skipped over some things (ie. John's first wife, Brian Epstein's death etc) but you can't have everything in 2 hours with commercials. If you're interested in learning more that's what the Anthology is for. Overall, a good special and an interesting look at how the guys affected so many celebrities of today. (Mike Myers' stories were my favorite!) If anyone has this on tape that you know, check it out whether your an old or new fan of the Beatles.
