Storyline

An American director comes to Italy to shoot a film about the beautiful city of Naples, casting Pupatella (Leda Gys), a native of Santa Lucia, the sailors' neighborhood, in the movie. Eager to become a film star, Pupatella returns to America with Billy, but their relationship is destroyed by a misunderstanding.

Mainly interesting for as look at Naples in 1924

Some location shooting in Naples and lots of lively kids. Most interesting is an extended sequence shot during the carnival. The story itself and the costumes and sets are ordinary. There are few shots of filming or of behind the camera action.
