Bollywood's top three bad guys - all in the same movie!
Such an excellent movie, another one that will form part of the "so bad its good" classics and deserves to be part of the annals of Bollywood history. All the exciting cinematic clichés that have ever been written are showcased in this movie with a shameless sense of excitement like we have never witnessed before.
Another important point that works for this movie is the casting - three of the best bad guys to ever grace Bollywood are a team in this one - Paresh Rawal, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Gulshan Grover. The movie also stars Karisma Kapoor, which is not surprising, as she has acted in bigger cinematic debacles before.
Police Officer is not for the weak hearted or people who are looking for a real police thriller. Both will be sorely disappointed.
Bottom line, Aruna Irani (the mother, who else), has a dog that she considers a son and calls Ram, Asrani is a police officer and Raza Murad is the Police Commissioner, if that is not reason enough, what can be?
