Storyline

This documentary treats movie fans to a behind-the-scenes look at the making of The Goodbye Girl, Neil Simon's story of a divorced mother and her daughter who must deal with an unexpected boarder living in their house while the mother's boyfriend is away. Includes interviews with stars Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason, as well as the rest of the cast and crew, who share some of the experiences they had making the film, and talk about some of the special efforts that went into it.
