Storyline

Kashinath and Imli are childhood sweethearts and everyone expects them to marry. Then comes rich, wealthy, and sickly Anjali Chopra into Kashinath's life, and then everything changes. Anjali gives up on her sickiliness and becomes bold, thanks to Kashinath's care. Anjali falls in love with Kashinath, and boldly tells her dad, Manmohan Chopra, that she will only marry Kashinath. But her dad wants her to wed Ajit. Imli reveals her secret that she has heart disease, and if not treated, she will die. Kashinath, unaware of Anlali's affections must find the money to save his true love. What sacrifices will he have to make in order to achieve this?

Family drama with no action sequences

For once, Ajay Devgan wasn't the middle classed man who got framed for murder, escaped prison and took revenge and doing loads of action sequences

This is a romantic love triangle with Ajay Devgan, Karisma Kapoor and Manisha Koirala Towards the last 45 minutes, the film starts to resemble NAYA DAUR (1957) but then goes back to the love triangle

The film makes u laugh a bit The Ajay-Karisma love story bit looks good but Manisha came and ruined it

The songs were OK but dat one where Ajay Devgan copies some Amitabh songs was good

Ajay Devgan excels and proves he can do roles in romantic dramas rather than action films Manisha Koirala is OK Karisma Kapoor is good Kader Khan is funny Shakti Kapoor is good in a different role Avinash Wadhavan is passable
