This movie is sub-par as a TV-movie...but just excellent if you work at the movie theaters, because it's pratically a spoof of your own work! And we all love something making fun of something we do!
Seriously, it is a nice modern remake of Phantom of the Opera, and Mickey Rooney is really good in this. The other actors are...okay. But, it is a must to watch if you work at your local cineplex. The writers must have had this job once in their life, because it is so dead on! Watch it for a few laughs, but don't expect frightening parts. Oh, and a great drinking game can be played with this every time a new, cheesy fake movie title is said. ("Power Penguins", "Waldorf's Revenge", "Blank Screen", the list goes on and on!) Check it out anytime on the Disney Channel, if you're ever interested...
