Cheggers Naked!
HuggyBear110 January 2003
This was a very funny game show with naturists as the contestants. There were 5 men and 5 women. Only 1 of each was good looking and they both lost early on!

The worst thing about this was Keith Chegwin presenting the show in the nude. There were quite a few shots of his manhood (if you can call it that). I thought it was a bit of dead skin! All I can say is that the studio must have been very cold!

Funny little show

A lot of people whom view this show particularly judge it as a piece of pure unadulterated trash, unfairly in my opinion. British game show networks are known for being original, and I thought the idea of nudists performing tasks based upon a popular children's game show at the time was a decent concept. I can say I myself do support nudism (not as much as I practice it, however), and the show never particularly tries to be exploitative.

It's just a fun one-off show that has a good time with itself. The games themselves are benign yet the contestants and Chegwin himself make it enjoyable. Contestants rarely ever perform tasks that relate to nudism (finding fig leaves, but that's pretty much it). Dismiss it as terrible television, but American television has really deemed nudism in a negative light (Surreal Life anyone?) and it is refreshing to watch a show that makes it normal and fun to watch.

Just don't watch it with the kids, ya hear?

Nasty little piece of voyerism posing as a game show

Essentially this was Channel 5's attempt to get more of the sleaze audience. This was "The Crystal Maze" for nudists - it had a series of activities (like a big assault course) that the contestants had to compete over - the twist being everyone was buck naked (save for helmets and safety straps etc).

Even the presenter, children's favourite Keith Chegwin, did it in the buff! It was a horrible thing to watch - indeed quite often the camera would be following someone on the assault course then suddenly lurch off to the side as if the camera man had gotten more than he expected! If the contestants had all been nubile young things then you could have understood why channel 5 would stoop so low but they weren't.

Essentially this was an one-off show (I hope!) that help channel 5 to make the newspapers and get some free publicity. However this was a nasty, voyeuristic piece of trash pretending to be a game show. Even those watching to see naked bodies would have been disappointed.
