terrible adaptation of Goines book
4 April 2004 | by (hollywood) – See all my reviews

This movie is bad...really bad! Poorly directed, poorly acted, poorly shot, poorly written and poorly produced. Watch this movie as a lesson in, "how not to!" I recently saw Never Die Alone, another Goines book, and humorously, one of the reviewers notes that dMX'x movie is the first adaptation of a Donald Goines book. Is it because Crime Partners is so embarrassingly bad that no one wants to even acknowledge that it exists?

If these guys had the money to hire relatively major talent (Ice t, Snoop, Charlie Baltimore, Chino Xl, Tyrin Turner and Clifton Powell) couldn't they have afforded a real crew who knows what they're doing? I definitely got the feeling that they had a crappy script supervisor, 1st AD, art dept etc...don't see this movie unless you wanna put your foot through the screen!
