Looking on the cover you could get to the conclusion that RULE, SNOOP and ICE-T has the leads.
However the Iceman and the Dogg are only in it for like 3 scenes, and mister Rule is in it for only one scene, and he doesn't even have any dialog what so ever! This is a quite usual thing with movies that have rappers in cameo-parts, when it gets released on DVD, all of the sudden the DVD-producers pretend that they have big roles and put their faces on the cover when in fact, the rappers themselves only drop by for a days work.
So don't expect any leads from any rappers.
Now to the movie: The movie is decent when it's about the gangstas in the lead, played by TYRIN TURNER from MENACE II SOCIETY and a chubby likable sidekick played by JOHN BRYANT, who's actually a former security officer on Death Row Records (how about that!)
Those 2 are actually quite good, HOWEVER there are 2 other roles that are equally big, It's a story bout 2 cops played by 2 awful actors straight out of the HALLMARK-network it seems, considering the corny acting.
And that POLICE-investigation-story is completely unnecessary for this movie, all it does is slow the movie down.
I believe that they recorded the gangsta-scenes and then they realized that the running-time was gonna be to short, so the director hollered at his friends to play this cops investigating.
Not saying that the gangsta-story itself is anything special, But it would've been at least an OK gangsta-movie without all the silly police-scenes.
Clifton Powell has on one silly Rasta-Wig throughout the movie though, so it might be worth checking it if only for that.
I think that TYRIN TURNER could be able to do a comeback, in a good movie that is, too bad this isn't one...
